ICAN Food Pantry at Downey Avenue

ICAN Food Pantry at Downey Avenue has served the greater Irvington community since the 1980s as part of ICAN (Irvington Community Advocacy Network), a 20-year-old nonprofit organization. The pantry, hosted at Downey Avenue Christian Church, provides a grocery-style shopping experience featuring fresh produce, pantry items, and hygiene kits to those in need. Beyond food assistance, ICAN operates additional services including a clothing closet, emergency assistance programs, and a sliding-fee counseling center serving the Irvington area.
