Community Cupboard

Community Cupboard operates a client choice food pantry serving residents of Wabash County with free groceries and basic nutritional support. Run by Living Well in Wabash County and managed by Phillip Prater, the pantry began food distribution during cheese give-away days in the 1980s as part of the Council on Aging and has since grown through partnerships with donors including Second Harvest Food Bank, Walmart, Kroger, and Midwest Poultry. The pantry also provides free Scholastic books for children as part of its community support efforts.
