Adel Food Pantry

The Adel Good Samaritan Food Pantry is a nonprofit organization located at 215 N 11th Street in Adel, Iowa, operating in the old Adel Middle School Lunchroom. The pantry provides emergency food assistance to residents of the ADM School District, Van Meter School District, and those with Dexter, Linden, and Redfield addresses, serving approximately 1,450 households annually alongside operating a pantry van to reach additional community members. With a mission to provide access to basic needs while offering connection and hope, the organization partners with the Food Bank of Iowa to distribute both shelf-stable and fresh food items to address food insecurity in the region.
