Kossuth county food pantry

The Kossuth County Food Pantry is a nonprofit organization located at 1426 E. Commercial Street in Algona, Iowa, dedicated to distributing food to needy residents throughout Kossuth County. Founded in 1985 by the Rev. Fr. Thomas Nash of St. Cecelia Catholic Church, the pantry has grown to serve approximately 450 families monthly and operates Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. As a tax-exempt public charity, the organization addresses food insecurity in the community while requiring proof of residency and adherence to income guidelines.
