Caring Hands Food Pantry

Caring Hands Outreach Center is a community-based organization serving eastern Polk County from its location at 602 3rd Street SW in Altoona, Iowa. Founded in 2003, the organization operates a food pantry offering assistance with food and basic needs, along with a thrift store whose sales support the pantry’s operations. Partnering with multiple local Christian churches and community groups, Caring Hands works to address food insecurity and provide essential services to neighbors in need throughout the Southeast Polk community.
