The Bridge Home

Founded in 1985, The Bridge Home is a nonprofit organization located at 225 South Kellogg Avenue in Ames, Iowa, dedicated to bridging the gap between homelessness and housing. The organization provides emergency shelter, food, financial education, and health and wellbeing assistance to individuals and families experiencing or on the verge of homelessness, serving five counties in the Two Rivers Region. Beyond immediate shelter, The Bridge Home offers preventative services and housing programs to help clients achieve self-sufficiency and maintain permanent housing.
