Caring Hearts of West Central Iowa

Caring Hearts of West Central Iowa is a nonprofit organization based in Carroll, IA that enhances the quality of life for individuals with disabilities through a range of services including supported community living, respite care, consumer-directed attendant care, home-based habilitation, and interim medical care. Founded in 2020 by four women—Luanne Mowrey, Dusty Stork, Brenda Wickland, and Mandy Halbur—the organization has grown from 40 members in 2021 to approximately 130 members, with expanded operations extending to Jefferson and recognition from the Carroll Chamber of Commerce for its community impact.
