Catherine McAuley Center

The Catherine McAuley Center is a nonprofit organization located at 1220 5th Avenue SE in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, that has been serving the community since 1989. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy and named after their foundress Catherine McAuley, the organization offers educational and supportive services to adult learners, women experiencing homelessness, and refugee and immigrant populations through programs including tutoring, case management, and employment readiness services. Serving more than 700 individuals annually, the Center provides hope and opportunity through services designed to promote stability, skill-building, community inclusion, and self-sufficiency.
