Green Square Meals

Green Square Meals is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization in Cedar Rapids, Iowa that serves hot, nutritious meals to homeless and food-insecure individuals and families Monday through Friday. Located at 605 2nd Avenue Southeast, the organization is the only evening meal program in Cedar Rapids, serving approximately 30,000 meals annually with doors opening at 3:00 p.m. for a social hour and dinner service from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Green Square Meals relies on community volunteers and donations to support its mission of providing meals and fellowship to anyone in need.
