Harambee House

The Harambee House, whose name means “Let’s Work Together” in Swahili, is located at 404 17th Street SE in the Wellington Heights neighborhood of Cedar Rapids and operates as a program of Four Oaks Family and Children Services. Housed in a renovated firehouse, it serves families through parenting skills development, mental health assistance, work skills development, computer access, and free bread distribution, with walk-in services available on Wednesdays.
