Meals on Wheels of East Central Iowa

Horizons Meals on Wheels, based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, delivers hot, fresh, restaurant-quality meals to homebound seniors and persons with disabilities throughout Eastern Iowa, including Benton, Cedar, Iowa, Johnson, Linn, and Washington counties. Operating on a donation basis with no one turned away due to inability to pay, the organization provides hot lunches and frozen meals five days a week, along with breakfast bags and congregate dining options. Horizons is a nonprofit organization supported by volunteers and serves approximately 700 homebound older adults each week.
