Metro Catholic Outreach – Food Pantry

Metro Catholic Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit collaborative of 11 Catholic parishes in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, established in February 2012. The organization operates a food pantry serving approximately 80-150 families monthly, distributing an average of 15,015 pounds of food each month, while also providing financial assistance for housing and utilities and community resource referrals. Located at 420 6th St SE Suite 120 in Cedar Rapids, MCO relies on approximately 200 volunteers to carry out its mission of addressing immediate food insecurity and community needs.
