United Way of East Central Iowa

United Way of East Central Iowa is a nonprofit organization headquartered at 317 7th Ave SE, Suite 401 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Founded in 1914 as the “United Charities Campaign,” the organization serves five counties in Eastern Iowa—Benton, Cedar, Iowa, Jones, and Linn—by focusing on education, financial stability, and health to break the cycle of poverty and strengthen communities. Through their “Unite to Inspire” strategy, UWECI partners with community members, volunteers, advocates, and donors to build economic mobility, foster childhood success, improve healthcare access, and support safety net services.
