Food Pantry, Apostolic Church

The Food Pantry at Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Centerville, Iowa provides emergency food assistance to individuals and families in Appanoose County who meet income guidelines. Located at 1311 W. Washington Street, the pantry serves 160 to 200 people monthly and operates on Fridays from 1:00 PM until food runs out. Supported primarily by donations from the local Walmart, which contributes 2,500 to 3,000 pounds of food weekly, the pantry offers fresh produce, meat, dairy, baked goods, and other nutritious items distributed by a dedicated team of 20 to 30 volunteers each week.
