Mohm’s Place (New Vision) – Food Distribution Center

MOHM’s Place, operated by New Visions Homeless Services, is a nonprofit food distribution and community meal site located at 1435 N 15th Street in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Founded in 1995 by Reverend Harry and Ginny Wallar, the organization serves the community by providing daily meals and food assistance to individuals experiencing food insecurity, distributing approximately 150,000 meals annually while requiring no paperwork or identification. Operating seven days a week with three meals served daily year-round, MOHM’s Place is complemented by the New Visions Complex, built in 2008, which additionally provides emergency shelter, supportive housing, and support services to address homelessness in Southwest Iowa.
