Howard County Comm Action

The Community Action Council of Howard County is Howard County’s designated anti-poverty nonprofit organization that has served the community for over 60 years. Located in Cresco, Iowa, the organization provides comprehensive assistance to low-income residents through programs including early childhood education, energy assistance, food assistance, housing support, and weatherization services.
