Cafe On Vine

Cafe On Vine is a nonprofit organization located at 932 W 6th St in Davenport, Iowa, that provides free meals to people in need 365 days a year, making it the only meal site in the Quad Cities to do so. Founded in 2007 as part of the Thomas Merton House initiative established in 1976, the cafe has served more than 735,000 meals with an average of 50,000 meals annually, operating with a commitment to serving all guests with dignity and privacy and no questions asked. Beyond meals, Cafe On Vine also operates a food pantry, clothing assistance program, and pet rescue and clinic that works with area shelters to address both human and animal needs in the community.
