Catholic Charities, Saint Mary Family Center – Food Distribution Center

Catholic Charities’ Food Pantry, formerly known as St. Mary Family Center, is located at 1815 Hubbell Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa, and distributes more than 8,500 food boxes annually to approximately 600 families each month. Operating as a nonprofit organization, the center provides emergency food boxes, fresh produce, perishable items, diapers, infant formula, and personal care items to individuals and families in need, with no questions asked. The pantry is a member of the Des Moines Area Religious Council Food Pantry Network and partners with the Food Bank of Iowa to combat food insecurity in the community.
