Children & Family Urban Movement

Children and Family Urban Movement (CFUM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1992 and located at 1548 8th Street in Des Moines, Iowa, dedicated to serving underserved children, youth, and families in the River Bend community and surrounding areas. The organization provides free meals through its year-round breakfast program, educational support, and family services with a focus on creating safe, welcoming environments where community members feel cared for. CFUM partners with Moulton Elementary School and collaborates with local organizations to serve one of Iowa’s most diverse neighborhoods while working toward expanding its impact to more north side schools and youth programs.
