Ruth Harbor Ministries

Ruth Harbor Ministries is a nonprofit organization founded in 1996 that provides a safe, supportive residential program and Christ-centered life-skills coaching for pregnant women and young mothers in Des Moines, Iowa. Located at 2500 University Avenue, Ruth Harbor offers housing, medical care access, and comprehensive support to help residents build stable, independent lives. The organization believes that when mothers thrive, their children and communities benefit, and in 2025 introduced an evidence-based, biblically-grounded Pathway Program to guide residents from surviving to thriving.
