Catholic Worker House

Hope House, a Catholic Worker House of Hospitality located at 1592 Locust Street in Dubuque, provides free food and lodging along with free community meals twice weekly, a food pantry, and round-table discussions. Established in Dubuque in 1977 as part of the Catholic Worker Movement—a charitable organization founded in 1933 to share Roman Catholic social teachings—Hope House offers shelter and assistance to those facing homelessness or displacement.
