About
The Dubuque Rescue Mission is a community-based nonprofit located at 398 Main Street that has served the poor and homeless in Greater Dubuque since 1932. Founded during the Great Depression by Rev. William Masters and Edward Beach, the organization provides hospitality, spiritual hope, food, shelter, clothing, and job development to those in need. The Mission operates multiple facilities including a dining room serving over 200 meals daily, emergency shelter for approximately 80 men, thrift stores, and an urban garden that produces over 2,000 pounds of produce annually for their free meal program.
