Rural Food pantry

The Rural Community Food Pantry, located at 673 5th Street NW in Dyersville, Iowa, is a nonprofit organization founded in 1986 that gathers and distributes food to neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Operating on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, the pantry serves approximately 120 households monthly across 11 communities in western Dubuque County, offering both fresh and shelf-stable items. After receiving a $450,000 grant from the Iowa Economic Development Authority, the organization relocated to its current expanded location in 2023, significantly increasing its capacity to serve the community and support initiatives like the Angel Project.
