About
The Fort Dodge Community Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) public charity established in 1995, serving Fort Dodge, Webster County and North Central Iowa from its office at 24 North 9th Street in Fort Dodge. As a catalyst for charitable giving, the foundation develops charitable resources and makes grants to nonprofits, schools, hospitals, churches and government agencies to support community programs, education, economic vitality, arts, culture and community betterment. The foundation offers multiple funding types including donor-advised grants, discretionary grants, special project grants, scholarships and county endowment grants, with past grantees including the Fort Dodge Community Schools, Children and Families of Iowa, and the Foster Grandparents Program.
