Upper Des Moines Opportunity

Upper Des Moines Opportunity, Inc. (UDMO) is one of Iowa’s 18 Community Action Agencies, serving low-income residents across 13 counties with emergency assistance and support programs from its Fort Dodge location at 704 Central Avenue. The nonprofit provides a comprehensive range of services including energy assistance, food pantry access, baby and birthday gift programs, holiday assistance, budget counseling, and minor vehicle repair services. UDMO partners with organizations like United Way of Greater Fort Dodge and Fort Dodge Ford to address community needs and support families in crisis.
