Market on Market is Gowrie’s community-owned grocery store located at 1119 Market Street in downtown Gowrie, Iowa. Formed in 2020 as Gowrie Grocery LLC after the original family-owned store faced closure, the store was saved through community fundraising and support, opening officially on April 25, 2020. In addition to groceries, Market on Market operates a deli, pizza counter, and broasted chicken stand, serving the Gowrie community and surrounding area.
