West Central Community Action

West Central Community Action is a nonprofit organization based in Harlan, Iowa, dedicated to empowering families and individuals to achieve their highest potential. The organization provides a comprehensive range of human service programs to residents across ten southwest Iowa counties, including Head Start, child and adult care food programs, family development services, utility assistance, weatherization, and senior employment programs. West Central Community Action works to eliminate poverty by involving low-income clients in the agency’s operations and developing partnerships with community organizations to address clients’ comprehensive needs.
