ICCompassion

IC Compassion is a nonprofit organization established in 2006 that serves Johnson County and surrounding areas from its location at 1035 Wade Street in Iowa City. The organization provides immigration legal services, English as a Second Language tutoring, citizenship classes, refugee assistance, a community food pantry, and paperwork support to vulnerable populations. As a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, IC Compassion has been authorized by the Department of Justice to provide high-quality, low-cost immigration legal services since 2011, and operates a Global Food Project community garden to connect residents through shared agricultural spaces.
