The Plymouth County Historical Museum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Plymouth County, located in a historic former high school building at 335 1st Avenue Southwest in Le Mars, Iowa. Organized in 1965 and moved to its current location in 1983, the museum features five floors of exhibits showcasing local heritage, agricultural history, and community artifacts spanning from early settlers to modern times. Operating Tuesday through Sunday with free admission, the museum hosts community events and relies on dedicated volunteers to make Plymouth County’s rich history accessible to visitors of all ages.
