Churches of Marion Pantry

Churches of Marion Pantry is a non-profit food pantry founded in 1982 by an ecumenical coalition of eleven Marion and Cedar Rapids churches to address emergency food needs in the community. Located at the Mission House of First Presbyterian Church at 802 12th Street, the pantry operates Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., providing free emergency food supplies and nutritional items to individuals and families in need. Staffed entirely by volunteers from participating churches, virtually all donations go directly toward purchasing food and hygiene items for neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
