Community Kitchen of North Iowa
About
Community Kitchen of North Iowa is a nonprofit organization founded in 1982 that provides free, balanced nutritious meals to anyone in need across a seven-county area of North Central Iowa. Located at 606 North Monroe Avenue in Mason City, the organization serves lunch six days a week and dinner Monday through Thursday, with no means testing required for services. The kitchen relies on donations from local supermarkets, restaurants, and community members, supplemented by volunteers who prepare and serve meals while upholding their commitment to serve people regardless of race, creed, age, gender, or ability to pay.
