CARE Food Pantry

The CARE Food Pantry is an all-volunteer community program located at 101 N. Main in New Sharon, Iowa, dedicated to providing food assistance to individuals and families in financial need. The pantry operates as a drive-through service on the fourth Thursday of each month from 10am-11am and 6pm-7pm, and is funded by area churches, individual donors, civic organizations, and the Iowa Food Bank. In addition to distributing food, the CARE Food Pantry provides information about area resources and assistance programs to help recipients achieve self-sufficiency.
