North Liberty Community Pantry

North Liberty Community Pantry is a nonprofit organization established in 1985 that serves North Liberty and rural areas of Johnson County, Iowa, providing free food and clothing to families in need. As an outreach ministry of North Liberty First United Methodist Church, the pantry offers weekly shopping opportunities for groceries, household items, and clothing from its community closet, which opened in 2021 as Johnson County’s first free clothing resource. The organization has grown significantly over the decades, expanding its facility in 2004 and 2013, and now engages community volunteers to help address food insecurity and connect neighbors to resources and services.
