West Central Community Action Outreach Office

West Central Community Action has served Southwest Iowa for over 40 years as a nonprofit community action agency dedicated to helping low-income families achieve self-sufficiency. The Fremont County Outreach Office in Sidney provides essential services including food pantry assistance, energy assistance programs, weatherization, and referrals to community resources through certified Family Development Specialists who work closely with local organizations to maximize support and prevent service duplication. Located at 705 Indiana Street in Sidney, the outreach center operates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., serving families and individuals across ten counties in Southwest Iowa including Cass, Crawford, Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Monona, Montgomery, Page, Pottawattamie, and Shelby.
