Food Bank of Siouxland

The Food Bank of Siouxland, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Sioux City, Iowa at 1313 11th Street, serving as the leading year-round food supplier for over 100 member agencies across 11 counties in northwest Iowa and northeast Nebraska. Founded in 1991 as the Tri-State Food Bank and renamed in 2000, the organization fights hunger by providing food and essentials to nonprofit agencies with feeding programs that directly serve families and individuals in need. The Food Bank operates several community programs including a Mobile Pantry program that brings thousands of pounds of food to underserved areas, and a BackPack Program launched in 2006 that provides weekend meals to schoolchildren facing food insecurity.
