Junior League Discovery Shop

The Junior League Discovery Shop, located at 316 West 7th Street in Sioux City, is a nonprofit thrift store operated by the Junior League of Sioux City since its establishment on February 4, 1971. The shop offers gently used clothing, shoes, toys, housewares, and furniture at affordable prices, with all proceeds supporting the Junior League’s community projects and training programs. Through initiatives like the Career Corner program, which provides work-appropriate clothing vouchers to people re-entering the workforce, the Discovery Shop has served as a vital community resource while remaining the organization’s primary ongoing fundraiser for nearly 55 years.
