Slater/Sheldahl Food Pantry

The Slater/Sheldahl Food Pantry has served the Slater and Sheldahl communities since 1983, providing food assistance to families in need. Located at 411 3rd Avenue next to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Slater, Iowa, the pantry operates on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., serving approximately 45 families monthly with a maximum of two visits per month per household. As a community-based nonprofit initiative, the pantry works to address food insecurity while supporting local families through its mission to expand services and help stretch household budgets.
