Upper Des Moines Opportunity, Inc. (UDMO) is a nonprofit organization headquartered at 1575 18th Street in Spirit Lake, Iowa that strengthens communities by offering a wide range of services to low-income families and individuals throughout Northwest Iowa. The organization operates multiple programs and service centers across twelve counties, including Head Start preschool, food assistance, energy assistance, weatherization, emergency financial aid, and housing support. UDMO’s Spirit Lake location serves Dickinson County and surrounding areas during regular business hours.
