Union Presbyterian Church

Union Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian congregation located northwest of Stacyville in rural Mitchell County, Iowa. Established in the late 1850s by early German settlers, the church was formally reorganized in 1873 or 1874 and constructed its iconic frame building with Gothic-style architecture in 1888. The congregation held services in German until 1918 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, though the congregation was disbanded in 1975 due to declining membership.
