Congregational Church

Tabor Congregational United Church of Christ, located at 403 Elm Street in Tabor, Iowa, is a historic congregation founded in 1852 by evangelical Christian settlers dedicated to establishing a Christian community on the Iowa frontier. The current brick church building, designed by Reverend J.K. Nutting and completed in 1875, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011 and represents a significant example of Gothic Revival architecture. As part of the United Church of Christ, the congregation welcomes Christians and those seeking to understand Christianity through worship, Bible study, and community service.
