First United Methodist Church-Feeding Our Neighbors – Food Pantry

First United Methodist Church in Waterloo, Iowa operates the Food Nook, a community food pantry located at 614 Randolph Street that serves eligible residents with fresh and shelf-stable food supplies. The Food Nook operates Thursdays from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and the second Saturday of each month from 10-11 a.m., distributing over 700 pounds of food weekly to the Church Row neighborhood and surrounding lower-income areas. As part of the church’s broader community mission, the facility also hosts dine-in meals on the third Wednesday of each month and works in partnership with the Northeast Iowa Food Bank to provide food assistance and supplies to those experiencing food insecurity.
