Whittemore Community Center

The Whittemore Community Center is located in Noah’s Park in Whittemore, Iowa, a town of about 500 residents in western Kossuth County. The center serves as a community gathering place and has hosted community events such as bingo and various celebrations. In 2001, a distinctive 20-by-60-foot Betsy Ross flag mural was painted on the center’s south side as a patriotic tribute, and the facility underwent kitchen and restroom renovations in recent years.
