ECCRC Food Bank – Lighthouse Library

The ECCRC Food Bank operates as part of the Eastern Cowley County Resource Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2003. Located at Lighthouse Library in Dexter, the food bank serves families and individuals in need throughout the area by distributing food items purchased through donations and partnerships with the Kansas Food Bank and Commodity program. In addition to regular weekly food distributions, ECCRC provides annual Thanksgiving food boxes and promotes literacy and computer skills development as part of its mission to strengthen the rural community.
