Kansas Food Bank – Garden City
About
The Kansas Food Bank is a nonprofit organization working to address food insecurity across Kansas. The Garden City facility, which opened in July 2024, serves as a distribution hub for the 31 westernmost counties in the state, increasing food distribution capacity by 50% and doubling the amount of fresh produce delivered to partner food pantries and hunger-relief agencies. Since 1995, the Kansas Food Bank has worked to combat hunger in rural Kansas communities, and the Garden City warehouse represents a major expansion of their mission to provide comprehensive hunger relief services.
