Hot Lunch Services Inc. dba St. Mary’s Food Kitchen is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located at 645 Nebraska Avenue in downtown Kansas City, Kansas, dedicated to serving free hot meals to anyone in need, 365 days a year. Founded on February 8, 1982, the organization has grown from serving eleven people on its first day to serving 250 to 350 hungry residents daily, with faith-based volunteer groups and organizations from nearly 40 Catholic, Methodist, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, Christian churches and synagogues providing and serving meals every single day of the year.
