Cats’ Cupboard: The K-State Food Pantry

Cats' Cupboard is a collaborative initiative at Kansas State University dedicated to promoting food security among K-State students, faculty, and staff in Manhattan, Kansas. Operating as a consumer choice model food pantry, Cats' Cupboard provides free access to food items and personal hygiene products with no income requirements or registration barriers. Established in 2017 and relocated to a significantly expanded 8,000 square-foot facility in August 2023, the pantry serves a culturally diverse population and operates as a donor-funded community resource addressing food insecurity affecting a substantial portion of the K-State community.
