Mission Community Food Pantry

Mission Community Food Pantry is a nonprofit food assistance organization located at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mission, Kansas that was founded in 2020 by community members Suzie Gibbs and Lynn Kring. The pantry provides food distributions twice monthly on the second and fourth Thursdays from 4-6 p.m., offering staple groceries and fresh food to families facing food insecurity, growing from serving 49 families at its first distribution to regularly serving 170-180 families. The organization partners with Harvesters – The Community Food Network and welcomes community involvement through donations, volunteering, and financial support to fulfill its mission that no one should go hungry.
