St. John’s Food Pantry

St. John's Food Pantry is an outreach ministry of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Sunfish, Kentucky, serving the residents of Edmonson County. The food pantry opened on May 1, 2016, and operates in conjunction with a thrift store to provide food assistance and support to low-income families, senior citizens, veterans, and others in need. The organization partners with Feeding America and the community to distribute food items, while revenues from the thrift store support both pantry operations and emergency utility assistance for residents.
