Campus Kitchen at University of Kentucky

Campus Kitchen at the University of Kentucky is a student-powered organization established in 2014 that recovers food from campus dining facilities, grocery stores, and farmers markets to prepare and distribute healthy meals to those experiencing food insecurity and homelessness in the Lexington community. Through partnerships with local organizations and as an affiliate of the national Campus Kitchens Project, the organization has served over 50,000 meals and impacted thousands of lives while reducing food waste.
