Dare to Care Food Bank

Dare to Care Food Bank is a nonprofit hunger relief organization serving Kentuckiana across 13 counties in Kentucky and Indiana. Founded in 1969 following a community tragedy, the organization operates from its main location at 5803 Fern Valley Road in Louisville and partners with nearly 400 food pantries, shelters, and emergency kitchens to distribute millions of meals annually. Beyond food distribution, Dare to Care runs innovative programs including Kids Cafes, mobile pantries, school pantries, and senior meal programs to combat food insecurity and support the most vulnerable community members.
